I am very excited about this project. Not only are you going to learn about a variety of genres and how to write in them, you will also learn the benefits and restrictions each genre has. This will allow you to see why you should use a certain type of genre for specific goals. Believe it or not, knowing this type of information will help you in the professional world. Knowing how to write and when to use certain genres will assist you in whatever profession you choose.
To remind you, we will be covering ten different genres in ten days. Stay on top of your homework! This project can be stressful if you do not complete the assigned homework. Do not forget to post you homework on the group blog every night. The blog serves to purposes. One, you can post your work and allow you classmates to review and edit your writing; this will allow them to offer helpful advice. Second, the blog is a perfect place for you to post questions, concerns and anything else about the project. I will check the blogs daily. In the title box, make sure to put your name and what you are posting. With that said, relax and have fun with your project. This is a chance for you to express yourself in a variety of ways.
